Greenland. Everything Changes
exhibition and publication by ALPS Swiss Alpine Museum (2024-2026)
Greenland. Eveything changes is a film-based exhibition about contemporary Greenland by ALPS Swiss Alpine Museum. It approaches Greenland as a place in transformation on many levels: identity, independence, global connections, resources, sustainability, peripheries vs. centers, traditions, climate change… These changes are induced by local circumstances and global tendencies, and resonate with many discourses taking place in Switzerland too.

The exhibition is based on video interviews, conducted on three trips to Greenland. We hence emphasize polyphony, complexitiy, and frictions as the protagonists reflect their field of experience through their own perspective. The exhibition also questions how we can deal with change, with dilemmas, and contradictions. The magazine adds essays, interviews and photo series by international and Greenlandic authors, researchers, artists and photographers.

I contributed as an assistant curator, project coordinator and researcher to the exhibition which was curated by Beat Hächler and Gian Suhner. In addition, I am the co-editor (text and images) of the magazine together with Daniel Di Falco.
